Russian psychobilly band from Moscow Beat Devils was originally formed in 2001 by the company of friends. Since January 2004 the constant lineup is: Mike «Gremlin» Bogdanov - double bass & shouts; Andy Loug - guitar & screams; Teo Nikolaev – drums & smiles. From that time the band has performed in Russia & Europe - there were over 1000 solo gigs and festival appearances. From that time the band has performed in Russia & Europe - there were over 1000 solo gigs and festival appearances. In 2005 their first album «Get the Beat and Meet the Devils» was released by Russian major label «Mystery of Sound» and by TCY-records in Switzerland . Eleven self-composed tracks with a modern mix of psychobilly, bluegrass and neo-rockabilly is a final result of 4-year work, tours and rehearsals. Later it was released by TCY-Records also and now it is available in Europe. The album got a number of press-releases and reviews in Russia and abroad. In June 2006 their song «Wild Rockin’ Mama» was included in the official compilation by well-known German billy-magazine «Dynamite”. In November 2007 they have released the first band’s EP «Tonight», and on 16 September 2008, they came in with their second album «Second Date», which was released by «Crazy Love Records» (Germany) and «JetNoise Records» (Russia). Their song «Let’s Go On» was included in Psychomania Fanzine compilation in December 2008. In 2009 the band performed at Psychobilly Meeting in Pineda de Mar, Spain (first European tour), at Mamakabo Festival in Ethnomir (Russia, Kaluzhskaya region) and at Helloween Rumble Festival in Finland. In April 2010 they took part in the biggest rockabilly & psychobilly festival in Eastern Europe Ukrabilly Bang #6 in Kiev, Ukraine (for the second time after very first Bang in 2005), and in May 2010 performed at Horrardo psychobilly festival in Bremen and toured over such cities as Berlin, Stuttgart, Prague and Backnang. On the 5th June 2010 Beat Devils represented rockabilly/psychobilly music on the famous open-air festival of different genres «Usadba Jazz» in Archangelskoe. Their latest split EP "X-Files" was released on 10th December 2010 together with the band The Magnetix. On the 2nd of April 2011 the band celebrated 10th anniversary and released the DVD of this concert. On 9th July 2011 Beat Devils occasionaly performed at Pineda Psychobilly Meeting again. On 15 September 2011 the new album "Another Dream" was released and the band made another European tour - Poland, Czechia, Germany, Belguim, Holland. In 2012 Beat Devils tour in Austria - Bloodsucking Zombies From Outer Space 10th jubilee concert, and in Spain - 20th Pineda Psychobilly Meeting with Stressor, The Magnetix & Hellstompers (Russian Night special event). In 2013 there are new European tours: Finland in February, Holland in March (including a set at the Psycohut Circus Festival #2 in Arnhem). Their latest album "Touchdown" was released on 1 November 2013.
