Настоящий успех пришёл к Даймонду в 1967 г., когда написанная им шуточная песня «I’m a Believer» стала бестселлером в исполнении пародировавших The Beatles телекомиков The Monkees и провела семь недель на вершине национальных чартов продаж.
Про Даймонда вспомнили в 1994 году, когда близкая к оригиналу кавер-версия его классического хита «Girl, You’ll Be a Woman Soon» (1967) прозвучала в «Криминальном чтиве» Тарантино.
The Beach Boys.
