Daniel Alomia Robles).
1973—1983
В мае 1973 года Саймон выпустил свой второй сольный альбом, «There Goes Rhymin' Simon», в который вошли популярные шлягеры «Kodachrome» и «Loves Me Like a Rock». Более амбициозным был следующий диск — «Still Crazy After All These Years» (октябрь 1975, 1-е место в Billboard 200, «Грэмми» за лучший альбом года).
Вслед за африканской музыкой Саймона пленили бразильские мотивы, которые преобладают на альбоме «The Rhythm of the Saints» (август 1990).
