Погиб (в числе 23 пассажиров) от удушья дымом из-за возгорания на самолёте, совершавшем промежуточную посадку в аэропорту Цинциннати/Северный Кентукки, направляясь с Кервиллского фестиваля фолк-музыки в город Даллас в Канаду, где он должен был далее выступать.
