В 1994 году вышел первый полноценный альбом "In My Wildest Dreams". В 1995 году Chesney подписывает контракт с BNA Records и выпускает альбом "All I Need to Know". В 1996 году выходит альбом "Me and You". В 1997 году выходит альбом "I Will Stand". В 1998 году Кэнни выпускает сингл "Touchdown Tennessee". S 1999 году выходит альбом "Everywhere We Go", синглами с этого альбома стали песни "How Forever Feels" и "You Had Me From Hello".
В 2000 году Кэнни выпускает альбом лучших хитов "Greatest Hits", на котором были записани 4 новых трека. В 2002 году выходит альбом "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems". В 2004 году выходит альбом "When the Sun Goes Down". В январе 2005 года выходит альбом "Be As You Are: Songs from an Old Blue Chair", в поддержку которого Кэнни отправляется в Sun Tour в ноябре 2005 года.
